Admin login problem

Doing some work on my site I copied the gallery folder to another domain and the DB to another Schem for some testing. Changed all the paths and urls.

This left me unable to login to admin it throws me back at the login page.

I can see the Admin control panel link in the navbar but when I click it I get the Photopost login page.

It makes no difference what I enter there (wrong name or wrong password)
I allways see the forum template and Thank you for loging in, you will now be redirected and the I end up at the gallery index.

Have you tried running the install script and overwriting settings to ensure you have changed everything to be correct. sounds to me like a setting is off.
