| What Happened to "Forum Code"
Just upgraded from 5.x to 6.23 under showphoto, there is no longer "Forum Code" link text. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I'm I missing something? Wasn't this there in previous versions?
I could not find it in Admin options... Is it still an option?
Thanks
-Rudy

You would need to post a link here then.

Chuck,
Yes, I see the links on the example you posted, but not on my Gallery.

In your... Admin CP > Show Photo Options > Show direct links to photos? Do you want to display the page link to a photo? Set to Yes
You have that option?

Thanks,
Things have changed... I saw the UbbCode, but when I enabled it, I just saw the one link code - was unaware you had to click the icon for the other 3...
Last question of the day...
When I use these link codes to post to a forum, my watermark does not appear. The watermark does appear within the PhotoPost gallery, but external image links show the image without the watermark. I went through all the watermark options and eveything is set to "yes". What am I missing here?
Thank again,
-Rudy

Rudy
If your using watermarking on the fly not permanent when you link the true image then of course there is no watermark to show.
Now if you set your watermarking up to permanently watermark images they will be watermarked.

Chuck,
In the past, I've always used on-the-fly watermarking and the watermark was displayed in over the images - even when displayed elsewhere. This is one of the primary reasons I use your Gallery...
Anyway, I think I know a way to make it work...

Thats impossible to my knowledge it never worked like that as the ubbcode is a true image link to the image. The sheer reason of doing on the fly watermarks is that it does not watermark the image. Thus if your posting links to actual images they will not have watermarks. Now yes if you switch to permanent watermarking you can have watermarks on the actual images.

I got it working, but it's a hack from a previous version of PhotoPost which may not be 100% secure. So I'm going to email you a URL of an image that has on-the-fly watermarking and can be posted on external Forums...

older files might have done something different but I think the issue is you cant use script links on the forums. I know in the old days you could but no longer they do not allow that for some time now.
