Changed servers, now can't upload images

I moved to a new server and now members cannot upload images. I'm running PP5.3 and it has worked flawlessly until now.
I set my admin panel to email me errors so I could see what's up and here is the error I got:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'fire' WHERE host='66.249.66.49'' at line 1


Note: the IP above is not the right one for my server. But I see no where to plug in my current IP.

How to Move Servers and/or Change Directories

Your would need to upgrade your Photopost config files to the correct information for this server that your moved your database to so we may obtain a valid mysql connection.

I 'thought' photo post was all flat files. I did not move the db, and checking now the db does not exist on the old server. I must've gotten rambunctious and deleted it when I deleted the forum db.

My photo post pics show up, but nothing new can be added.
Is there any hope for recovering from this mess up?

Photopost is a dynamic php mysql driven gallery nothing is flat files.

You would need to grab the database from the old server and install it on the new server and follow that tutorial or rerun the install script so everything is on the new server.

The DB no longer exists. However pics show up in my PP gallery.

What you are saying is there is no way to recover IF I do not have the old DB.

What I'm wondering is how the pics are displaying at all. I have the pictures inside the photo post images dir. But no DB

You have to have the old database somewhere if pics are showing. It has to exist on whatever server your telling the config file it exists.

You should double-check your .sql files to be sure the backup completed successfully.

Does Photopost have an option to include the PP DB inside of the VB DB? I'm thinking that is what I did. .....maybe.

Check your config-inc.php file that will tell you where your database is.

I checked the config-inc.php file and it is indeed pointing to the same DB that I keep VB in. So they are combined. Whew. Major Brain Fart there.

A little more info:
at the bottom of my config-inc.php file I reference a path to Image Magic mogrify. Image Magic is not installed on this server. I'm using GD for images.

Would this be part of my problem? Can I simply reference GD instead of image magic? If so which GD module should be referenced.
