Mysql error

I upgraded Mysql from 4.1 to 5 and at the top of my gallery I get this error:

Looks to me like your entire site has mysql issues. Make sure mysql is working on the server.

As far as your gallery and forum make sure the information in their respective config files is the correct access information to connect to mysql as this may have changed if you reinstalled mysql on the server.

Your forum and gallery both show that a connection to mysql can not be made.

yeah, Mysql is back-up now, just got off the phone with webhost support, however I still have that error, if I try to go to the admin cp in PP I get a white page with that error at the top:

Your cache is a little messed up. Try disabling the category cache in admin or in database viewer repair your gallery tables.

I cannot get into admin, I get that error?

Can you give me a sql command to run to clear it?

I tried to repair and I get this error:

ok, I don't know what I did, but I got it to repair successfully, weird.
