Still showing old version in admin

I just went through this morning and updated from 5.3 to 6.2, and the entry just under the announcement box still shows 5.3

Everything seems to be working fine. I deleted the upgrade.php and install.php, logged onto the server, and went into admin and get the above.

Your version number your running is shown clearly where it says version.

You need to make sure you have uploaded all the files then. I would reupload all except the config files. adm-misc.php clearly has the version in that file as 6.2. If your showing anything different then you have an old file on your server not the new one.

Yeah you might want to delete that extra install.
