Still showing old version in admin I just went through this morning and updated from 5.3 to 6.2, and the entry just under the announcement box still shows 5.3 Everything seems to be working fine. I deleted the upgrade.php and install.php, logged onto the server, and went into admin and get the above. |
Your version number your running is shown clearly where it says version. The announcement says 6.2 |
this is what i get on the admin page: Database Statistics Current Version 5.3 |
You need to make sure you have uploaded all the files then. I would reupload all except the config files. adm-misc.php clearly has the version in that file as 6.2. If your showing anything different then you have an old file on your server not the new one. |
nah, i dont understand it... i have literally deleted that file, bang, its gone, re-uploaded the new one, and still shows 5.3 and here is the section of code in that file: Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
scrap everything i just said, i was looking at the wrong folder on my site. for some reason, i have two photopost folders, one outside of /forums, and one in /forums.... all good :) |
Yeah you might want to delete that extra install. ;) |
