We just changed our server email software form Sendmail to Exim.
After doing this, I started receiving email error reports from the Photopost subscriptions.
My programmer has looked high and low and cannot figure out what is going in.
He even upgraded my version 6.11 to 6.2 to see if that would fix it, and it was unsuccessful.
Could it be a possibility that there are subscription emails being generated for a member who was deleted through Vbulletin, but not deleted properly through the Photopost system?
Please help us figure this out.

We use php's mail command to send email in Photopost so it may not work with that other product. Personally I have never dealt with exim. Your host might be able to assist

| Mail failure - no recipient addresses
Chuck,
I'm suddenly getting this as well. I have vBulletin and PhotoPost married properly, and everything was good up till about a month ago. No changes in server software, or anything else, and yes, before you ask I am running the latest (6.23) PhotoPost software. I believe that it might have something to do with a user being removed through VB, but not being cleaned out completely in PP, and leaving behind some Photo subscription links, but I can't seem to find these anywhere. I say this because I recently (just before this issue surfaced) deleted a couple of users who asked to be removed from the Forums, and since then I've been getting these messages regularly.
Hope this helps,
John

Could be quite possible but that means you would need to search your site and do a query like this to remove all notifications for a query.
You should never really be deleting anyone in vb without first deleting them in photopost.
DELETE FROM pp_notify WHERE photo=YOURCATID;

That's what I thought might have happened afterwards ... I assumed that the integration was complete however, so it didn't occur to me before. Is there any way to change some code, so it does a compare of the PP and VB users and only sends out the notices if they are in both? Otherwise I'm think I'm stuck trying to do a manual compare of the userlists to weed out the inconsistencies ?
Thanks in advance,

There is nothing in the program that can do that. We delete everything if things are deleting from photopost but the issue is when you delete things from vb. There program does not know we are there no more than we perform vb functions in our code.

That is what I thought might be happening ... oh well ... going in manual mode to find the culprits, as I can't just kill all subscriptions
Thanks,
John
