Image storage (data folder?) location...

Can this folder be stored outside of the web-accessible tree?

Will the application still function as expected?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to this approach? I know with some gallery packages out there, they recommend setting the image upload folder to be outside the web-accessible tree because their scripts load all images. This also keeps people from being able to deposit random files to your upload folders.

Does Photopost Pro do this as well?

1. SURE using storage options in Admin

2. SURE its a built in function to store the large images in a non web accessible folder if you wish although there are pros and cons.

ONE DOWNFALL THOUGH multimedia video's. These require direct url access to the video to load them in the embedded player which must be web accessible or download them same thing needs to have a web address. If you hide video's from being web accessible you never can access them again.

That is the major obstacle

Ok, thanks for the info Chuck!

I'm doing a new install of Photopost Pro on a site, and wanted to ask about that.
