Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

Hello all,

New installation today, as the title says I get error

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1


So having read previous posts on the same issues I tried GD2, and like 'magic' the file uploads. BUT, I get a thumbnail but not an image ie the medium one.

Ideally i'd like to resolve imagemagick but I would say getting GD2 working would be a good start, any thoughts?

update sorry about this resolved the GD2 problem.

Now any thoughts about imagemagick error

well this would depend what version of imagemagick what server type?

sorry Chuck wasnt much help that post.

Its windows 2003, and the latest version of of Imagemagick from their website.

The error msg is

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

Command:

"c:\Imagic\mogrify.exe" +profile "*" -size 100x38 -quality 100 -geometry 100x38 C:/Inetpub/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/gallery/data/500/thumbs/logo.jpg

if its windows try removing this in image-inc.php

Okay well getting imagemagick to work on windows is touch and go so GD2 should work fine for you.
