Lightbulb .doman.com www.domain.com issue for PPost and Classifieds

My installation of both Photopost Pro and Classifieds are not working as intended.

Every time I try to get to either one at Main Index - UDPride Galleries or Main Index - UDPride Classifieds, something changes the URL to Main Index - UDPride Galleries (and classifieds).

Because its doing this, it logs me out every time I go from a regular VB forums page to these photopost and classifieds pages.

In the classifieds CONFIG-INTC file, all the URLs are set to UDPRIDE.... and in the Classifieds admin all the URLs are set to same.

In the galery CONFIG-INT file, all the URLs sre set to UDPRIDE... and in the Gallery admin all the URLs are set to same.

I dont know why this is happening but right now my other upgrade projects are on hold until I get it solved which is not great. I also have a navbar issue but I saw a help thread about that.

I looked in my VB config file and did not see any cookie path. All I saw was a cookie prefix.

Im stuck and I need help.

Your server is probally doing it because if you do not place a filename on the end of the url on some servers they may default to the default site name.

This will help you set cookies correctly as your cookies are not properly setup to be site wide

Ive looked at that cookie thread already. I see nothing anywhere where cookie domain is set. All I see is a cookie prefix.

Both applications clearly have a line to set the cookie domain in the cookie settings part in both application admin panels.

OK im still struggling with this. every time I navigate to my photopost gallery and classifieds, it switches my URL from:

Main Index - UDPride Galleries to Main Index - UDPride Galleries

same with the classifieds switching from

Main Index - UDPride Classifieds to Main Index - UDPride Classifieds

these two products are the only ones that are affected. I dont run into this issue with any others. The reason its prolematic is when it switches to the domain without the "www" it also logs the user out and they cannot log back in.

The only way to get to the "www" version is after the non "www" URL page loads, you physically add the "www" to the URL box and it will then render and you will be logged in. The first time you attempt it however or click a link directly to "www" version, it will switch you every time to non "www".

Im not the most tech savvy. I read the link, but Im still not sure what I need to do. Im running VB 3.7.3.

Right now this is how Im configured for both photopost gallery and classifieds (not working right for either one):

GALLERY:
photopost cookie path: /
forum cookie prefix: vb3
photopost cookie domain: .udpride.com
smf cookie name: [blank]

CLASSIFIEDS
photopost cookie path: /
forum cookie prefix: [blank]
photopost cookie domain: [blank]
smf cookie name: [blank]

all global URL paths for each product are with "www" in the URL.

Ive been unable to get this to work properly for over a month. Anyone who can help me solve this, I would be so appreciative.

Maybe I should generate a support request? Im just not real literate on this stuff.

Thanks.

Cookies and Login Problems!!

Please set all 3 applications to the same cookie settings noted in our tutorial

Your cookie prefix by the way in vb is bb.

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain .udpride.com
