Can not download any php -- ?

hi there,

i have just purchased photopost Gallery - as a stand alone.

I am a newbie at installing this kind of program.. and I hope if anyone can help me. I have not downloaded the photopost yet in the member section, as I want to get the required system first.

At the moment I'm trying to download PHP 4.0.2+ and it just does not seem to work. As when I do the php check in notepad/save etc.. and upload it on my webserver- it does not pop up.

Is there a step to step guide to downloading it correctly?? --
or is it my computer?? -- I am using a computer at work.

.. I have dwnloaded imagemagick and msql already / is it correct? I'm not sure..

Is there a proper way to check if i have installed them properly??

I'm sorry to have bombarded everyone with questions but my destop has been filled with installation packages for a few days.. And I'd like to have my gallery up and running ASAP!.

As far as PHP installation instructions on a webserver you might want to ask or look over at php.net

Once you get php and mysql installed you can run a phpinfo.php file which is found under our hardware/software requirements link off product details to ensure it is installed.

then you can worry about imagemagick.
