Need help on upgrading from 6.1 to 6.2

Photopost pro 6.1 integrated with SMF 2.X

Upgrading to latest version is always a good idea but I am tired of uploading all those similar files again and again as well I had modified some part of script (just say modified forum>smf.php to integrate Photopost pro with SMF 2.X as well header, footer, pals and some other parts with help of Chuck). Those was done long time back and now I don't remember where and what I did so I don't dare to face same problem again becouse I don't want to knock the door of Chuck for same problem

Coming to the point

Do we need to run upgrade.php?
Is it possible to upgrade by uploading just changed script? If yes then what file should we upload from 6.2?

You only need to update the files in the announcement no upgrade needed.

Turn on the debug option in admin global options to say display errors and then when logged in as admin view the page and tell me the true error.

There is no 6.1 only 6.2 and there are no issues with 6.2 and vb In fact all you needed to do was upload a few files to upgrade.

The issue as I see it now is your editing or hacking some of our files especially smf.php and thats causing a big issue for you.

Ok I missed right here. Thought 6.2 is supporting SMF version 2.X Beta

Just backed the Gallery in version 6.1 after modifying some code in photo>>forum>>smf.php and removed the line $hpage

I got many hints during last 16 hours and now I will try my luck upgrading 6.2 again and if still fail then I will giveup and will wait till the Photopost pro write smf file for SMF version 2.X

We support NON BETA so your issue could be with the beta that we do not support.

To see what your exact error is you can look at this code in pp-inc.php

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
change to this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I would suspect your issue is with the smf beta

Correct your issue is we do not support BETA SMF 2 as that would require a whole brand new file and that software is in a public supported release. We only support software integrations we write and publically announce the ones we support. SMF 2 is not currently a supported integration.

You can email us through the contact us link in the header and I can send you a file to try
