Question You do not have permission to view this category.

I got this error after doing an import from vBGallery. I also lost all users when I did a db scan to fix medium size images.

But, My Photos gives this message:

You do not have permission to view this category.

I've checked all permission settings and they are fine, so I can't understand why this occurs.

I also wanted to use vBulletin's registration system rather that Photopost Pro's, but where do I find the link to change this to point to vBulletin's registration?

Regards

If you installed Photopost Pro and then imported vbgallery content if you did not install Photopost pro to integrate with the vbulletin from the start yes I can see your cat permissions and photo users being lost as they dont exist.

You would need to start over install Photopost to integrate with vbulletin and then do the vbgallery to Photopost import over again.

I'll redo the installation again. I did do a full integration with vBulletin from the start, my users only disappeared after I did a db scan and repaired some broken users and comments, and the medium image size dimension rebuild.

The registration has never worked properly, since it was supposed to be integrated with vbulletin it should have used the vbenhanced templates but some were missing when the register link was pressed. Moving some Coppa templates from the template dir to the vbenhanced dir seemed to fix this issue though. But they wern't in the download of Photopost Pro.. :S

You note in your original reply you where using pros registration not vb's so that is what told me it was not installed correctly

Therefore to have a successful pro and vbgallery to pro import you must install pro to successfully integrate with vbulletin and you will know if its functional as there are tons of examples even one on this site. After that you want to do the import. you might want to make sure to clear your pro database tables and start fresh.
