Fresh Install of new script error

Hi Chuck
Hope all is well, Here's my error


Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'chatter_default'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/chatter/public_html/Photopost/install.php on line 1459
I cannot connect to the Users database.

The information your posting in the config is not correct to connect to the database in the user portion.

I have had my tec support guy at Maine Hosting Solutions work with me on this issue. Here is his responce.

Could you check with the PP developers and see what would cause that? If it were a more descriptive error I might be able to go forward, but this doesn't give us any info to work with.

You can turn in admin global options the debug setting to display error and it will tell you the specific error but sounds like a database issue to me.

Fresh Install of stable 6.2

Hi Chuck


It was human error. I uploaded all files again. Then performed a fresh Install. Come to find out I was never getting to step #5. The reason was because of the following. During install we were putting the photopost
data base prefix in on the line that wanted the """ Forum""" data base prefix.

Here are mine "yours my vary"

Photopost data base prefix is pp_

Forum data base prefix is phpbb_

as soon as I corrected this the install went on to step #5 and was easily
finished.
