500 internal server error when registering new users Just finished setting up my new photopost site, done some translating into norwegian and was working on the registering page. Here i encountered a problem. After filling out the form and submitting it, i get a 500 internal server error. Quote:

I would suggest if you where editing files make sure to replace them with files we release and see if you can reproduce the problem with our files because I am not seeing any issues registered a user in our default code maybe something wrong with your edits? |

Make sure to also reupload all the core php files not the config files through as well and any other files you might have edited. |

Christian check out your server logs on that server or have your host do this and give us some feedback on what the server is choking on as noted by webdosser thats a real generic error from the server and hard to diagnose without more info. |

Well... Did a full reinstall of the photopost. Unpacked from zip, cleared db and folders on server. Uploaded all files, did the install. So now its all default, still same result when trying to register new user. Did however see something funny when i ssh`d to the server, got a bunch of mail saying: Quote:

and that is a sendmail problem i do believe which is only editable inside the server root access.. cpanel tweek setting?. |
Maybe your server disables the mail statement in PHP. |

Allso found some more info here, dont know if its helpfull but here it is. :) Server is using suphp with register_globals=Off Dont know if this has something to do with this problem, cause it does not seem to affect anything ellse. I have not yet tested to upload anything yet. Will try that now... Regards Christian |

is defined right in the script it is the one the user signs up with and the one we store in the users table email field. |
