Hmm im not sure thats it.

I did validate the paths:
var fileLoadingImage = "images/loading.gif";
var fileBottomNavCloseImage = "images/closelabel.gif";

My site is setup like this:
www.site.com
www.site.com/forum/
www.site.com/forum/gallery/

I have also validated the files are in the gallery/images directory.

Lightbox does work without the images in firefox but not IE.

Sorry but I think I spoke too soon. Now they are just coming up in a new window, and I did not make any additional changes to lightbox. Any ideas?

My settings are still as follows:

Hmm. I set this back to 1500 and it works again though it was at 1500 to begin with. Seems odd, but at least its working at the moment.

Again thanks for the help.

Also what is the purpose of the 1500? Im trying to understand the setting. Is it images larger or less than the size entered?

Your lightbox threshold is how big are images going to be to use lightbox meaning any image under that will use lightbox and any image larger will use the bigpopup window. See you lowered your thresholds on lightbox hense the image used the regular popup window.

I have the same problem as mentioned in the OP. I changed the var code as described here, but I get very different results in each browser.

Google Chrome : works fine

Opera : the "Close" buttton displays, but with a "null" written in the bottom-left corner. Additional problem : the zoom function doesn't work and makes the photo blink on mouseover.

Internet Explorer : "Close" button doesn't display (red cross) AND the same "null" word as in Opera shows up.

Firefox : "Close" button doesn't show at all. No red cross. The white space under the photo is too small. When clicking where it should be it does close the lightbox, but visitors would never guess.

Make sure to clear any browser caches the close image should be there in all

I cant speak about any null thing thats probally something from the actual lightbox script and the browser imcompatibility. Best to look at the lightbox support site as we do not directly support that application.
