Upgrade error - MySQL in pp-inc.php line 4153 and no admin permissions

Hi,

After upgrading from Photopost Pro 5.3 to the latest version (running with vBulletin 3.6.8PL2) we have an error on all pages of the gallery:

Quote:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/maplanet/public_html/photos/pp-inc.php on line 4153
While all comments and photo data is correct no photos are showing (though they are on the server) with an additional error on photo pages (showphoto.php):

Quote:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/maplanet/public_html/photos/showphoto.php on line 160
On top of that, when navigating to the adm-index page I get "You are not a valid administrator or moderator!" even though I have all admin permissions for the site.

If you wish to see for yourself, our Photopost install is at Main Index - Martial Arts Planet Photo Gallery

Any help would be brilliant :)

Looks to me like you have not ran all your required upgrades. Please upload the upgrade script and run the upgrades from your version forward

I ran the upgrade script from version 5.3 (what I believe was running before the upgrade) to the latest version. I've just taken over responsibility for our gallery so theres a good chance that, while the 5.3 files were on the server, our last full upgrade was in June 2004 ( ).

Would running the upgrade script from 4.82 cause any damage?

I would suggest running the script from 5.0 forward do not do 4.85 as if you run that more then once you can mess things up but looks like I spoke too late

You need to restore a backup of your database and start over with the upgrade at the proper place and only do things once.
