After upgrade, forum change, photos don't show up in gallery Hi, We recently upgraded our photopost to latest version (photopost pro v6.11), then did a change in our forum software from ubbthreads to vbulletin. We followed the instructions for such a move in the Chuck S. post of April 21, 2008 and everything appeared to go smoothly with no problems. The trouble is that our Member Galleries have gone out of sync. We have 4,400 photos in them, but all but about 100 are not showing up (4300 are missing in action). When I go to click on a certain member's name, it doesn't show up even though I know they had dozens of photos before the move. Is there some way of resyncing the photos to users or something? I checked everything I could in the admin panel but didn't see this option. I also did most of the tasks listed under PhotoPost Database Administration that involved syncing or rebuilding, to no avail. Thanks! |
You followed all the steps in my post? you realigned the userid's using the userfix script as noted? if you also have a setting in showgallery option that a users gallery does not show all a users photos your not going to see photos in a users gallery so I would need to see a link to your gallery here. |

Sorry, I should've been more clear. We have over 400 member galleries. Only about 20 are showing. If you go to the Member Gallery index, then scroll down and click on the different pages listed: Page 1 · 2 · 3 · 4 · 5 · 6 · 7 · 8 · 9 · 10 · 11 ... 39 They all come up the same -- the same 20 galleries keep showing (in slightly different orders). For instance, here's one member's gallery: female17england Gallery - Our Gallery But it shows up nowhere in the index of Member Galleries now (even if you click on "f"). Thanks again for any ideas... |
Have you tried in Admin => Scan Database to rebuild the users last photo option |
Yes, we did that. But I went in and did it again one at a time. It seems like when I checked a whole bunch of boxes last time, it only did the first action and not all those checked. Doing it one at a time fixed the problem. Thanks for your help! |
