so heres what i checked:

paths in the following files, directory respective to the email:

/ gallery / config-inc . php - paths and license # correct
/ gallery / config-int . php - paths correct
/ gallery / gallery_config . php - paths correct
/ gallery / includes / config . php - paths correct
/ gallery / includes / init.php - license # correct

Now the actual gallery home page My Photo Gallery - Main Index shows there are a little over 1000 users yet when trying to login, you get the message in the above post.

you can go to AZSportbikes.org vBGallery Statistics and it shows you as logged in.
Quote:
Hello 06R1nR ! Welcome to AZSportbikes.org vBGallery. Please enjoy your stay.
however when trying to login to the admincp
it tells you:
Quote:
Invalid login. Please check your username and password, or register.
now if i navigate directly to:
Quote:
www/azsportbikes.org/gallery/register.php
it brings up a registration page. trying to registre my existing username that i sent you gets me this message:
Quote:
We experienced a problem adding your account. Please contact the System Administrator.
or registering any other account for that matter. im a bit more concerned about the logging in to the admin cp and allowing guests to register thru the gallery of they want because it sincerely looks like it is a database issue at this point. i have checked multiple paths on the server, in the vb options in admincp and also cookie settings, and set the 3 options to OFF OFF OFF. the first install we did with this went fine, very few if any errors and now trying to run thru the install again, coming up against multiple types of difficulties. as far as i know or have been made aware, he set all the directory permissions the way they were prescribed as well as any necessary file permissions.

the user login info that i emailed you should work as it is the admin login info for the forum. FTP access as described in the email is not limited to very much, you should be able to edit files, add files and overwrite files as need be. i am at a complete standstill and have no further direction at this point as i have searched multiple forums, threads and posts and have yet to come across an even similar situation. i will forward you the email address upon request of the other guy i run this site with so that you may consult with him on matters i may not be aware of or need other confirmation on. you also have my permission to write down the necessary config information, wipe out the gallery completely and do a fresh install for yourself to see if you can duplicate the problem, which shouldnt be hard as we have tried to reinstall the gallery about 8 times now. you may need to get a hold of the other guy to have him wipe the tables on the database, which shouldnt be too tricky of a thing for him to do so you can start over brand new.

if theres anything else you need from me, i sent another email with my first name.last name to the sales email address, feel free to use that one to get ahold of me immediatly as it goes to the phone.

thanks in advance.

Are you trying to mix gallery files? Your noting filenames from two different products at any rate I do not see any email from you yet in our system unless I have responded to something and awaiting a reply from last night

Like I said this is a configuration mistake because you should not be able to bring up register.php it should tell you that it is only used in a standalone install so something is wrong with your install in the settings and I need server info to peek about and see what info is incorrect.

Try emailing chuck at photopost dot com with server details

If your doing a clean install why not remove all vbgallery files off your photopost directory and clear that pp2 database and try reinstalling
