new install upload photo problem

that is the error i get when uploading photos. it makes the thumbnail but you cant view the image. any ideas?

My suggestion would be to turn off any plugins you have in your vbulletin and see if things work. there is nothing in our system thats calling some hack file ame_bbcode.php so this appears to be a hack conflict and once you turn off the offending hack you should be fine.

also when i go to manage albums in the admin cp i get a blank screen on the right

You would get a blank screen if there are no personal albums

As far as login.php where is the link as we correct the one in the header is this a custom vb style with login link in footer? url to gallery?

You are using vbulletin so you are not using the photopost system.

Hey King, you have some problems with your site you need to work out. I was trying to get signed up at your site, so I followed the register link and activated my account, but then couldnt login. I retraced my steps and somehow I got in your test-vb. So you must have some links wrong somewhere. My guess is you have a path wrong somewhere. Go into your global options in Photopost and make sure all of your paths are correct.

Also check your cookie settings. I got logged into the test-vb, and then I was able to hit photopost, but as I navigated around, I had issues.

Yes indeed as jwashburn points out you integrated photopost with your test_vb but it appears your using the overall header footer integration from your vb install

You would need to correctly install with one or the other

i have all the paths correct but when i try to log in through my photopost classifieds it still has the forum login blank like i didnt log in. also my forum navbar doesnt show on the photopost.

ok i think i have it going. does everyone have to have the pictures approved? and should this create thumbnails when things are uploaded?

also i still get this error when i click log out on the bottom of the the classifieds page

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Approval is turned off in admin edit usergroups under moderate ads?

Your login link in the footer of vb you need to edit that vb template and fix that relative link login.php to a full url

i put the thumbnail there in my add i thought it was automatic

Yea sorry. So on the classifieds do i have to manually make a thumbnail for the category. Also i have banners that run in my vb header but they don't show up in the classifieds only the code does. how can i fix that?

you would have to give an example of your banner stuff but initial response here is to make sure your banner code uses full urls to images not relative urls since we need to know where those images are.

You can set a thumbnail for a category by tagging an ad or inputting a url in the category editor for each category
