Classifieds i have to always manually pic?
I was wondering because i have both and it worked differently so i was wondering if there was a setting to have the classifieds randomly pic or the newest ad is that thumbnail.

1. that depends on your banner code not much I can say since I dont know what your using or how that works.

2. photopost only picks a avatar for the cat if there is not one otherwise once you have one its set. Classifieds it is manual or you can set a static one via url in edit categories something you cant do in photopost

Okay you might want to ask the hacks author how to make sure it uses a full url to the banner image and not a relative one.

That or find out where the banner images exist and also make sure they exist under photopost the same way.

I cant say as I dont know anything about the hack your using which is why I suggested contacting the hack author.

The end result here is the banner code is using relative url to images hense they will be looked for in photopost directory as that hack needs to use full urls. you could see where those banners are located in the forum and try copying the same directory and images under your photopost directory

Also is there a way to make a top level category more like a vbulletin category where it is separate from the rest of the gallery's. I know you can turn off posting/uploads but if someone tries to upload to that cat it still allows the upload then the picture is no where to be found.

You need to set your lightbox thresholds higher and also turn on the bigpopup window for things to work that should help

You can only do the category bar by setting in edit categories the box contains thumbs to no and it will be used as a top level cat not able to be uploaded to.
