Getting upgraded to new database server

My host wants to move my site, including Photopost, to a new database server. They tell me that this move should be transparent as far as my site goes. No fields for me to change. Is this true or are there pathways that must be changed before or after the move? I'm using Current Version 6.1

If they make all access the same and all server paths the same it is transparent sure. I cant say what they will or will not do

There are changes in the CP

Chuck, found 2 fields in the CP rquiring changing before host moves my site to different database. They're both in CONFIG-INC.PHP Variables. One is PhotoPost Database Host and the other User Database Host (enter same info as above if not integrating with a third party forum.
