Help.. locked out of my pp

Hello,...

all was working just fine.. this morning I went to check the gallery and I got some errors and I couldn't long in at all

tried to request my password for different userIDs, each email I enter it says doesn't exist..

I done nothing in PP in few days since I gotit working.. language changes to english (so its not reading the config file as far I can tell)

this is the main error on main page

this is happening just this morning as I came on to look at the site using two different computers, getting same issue

I would not know who you are by name here or do we keep access's prior emails

Your error tells me that the database info has changed like your table prefix for Photopost. Your doing a standalone photopost gallery.

I am sorry,, I thought I was well known to all j/k

I done nothing and it was working till this morning

I am running vB 3.7.2 and PP 611 combo.

I have sent you your login info via email already

I can't even logout of vB from PP anymore.. I can log out of vB pages but not in PP and once I am back to PP I find my self logged into vB again but not PP

EDIT: I just checked the tables.. not change in prefix, pp_ is in config files and so is the database itself

There is your issue you changed something because that error tells me you have reinstalled this as a standalone not vb integrated. you must run the install script at this point and reinstall correctly.

I understand that and thats how it looks.. there are lots of thumbnails but not actual photo and it didn't recognise any email I throw at it.. so yeah you are right on that..

BUT, I did not change anything since it was running and you fixed few issues i had last week..

unless.. unless my host done something like restored something without me knowing !!! could that be the case?


now for the fix.. you said I must run install again.. how do I go about it? just install.php as fresh install or upgrade.php? which direction please?

PS. I do have PP database backed up from few days ago.. would that help?

One more thing Chuck,, if it looks as it was installed as standalone, why does it use my vB's style?

It uses your style because you have switched installed in config-int.php

As far as reinstalling simply delete any entries out of the pp_usergroups table. rerun install.php and install correctly. No need to delete any photos etc

Thanks Chuck.. what I did now is just restored PP's database back to Aug. 1 and all seems fine now.

Should be fine if its working correctly sure. Somehow someone ran an install so make sure you dont have install.php on the server.

Not a problem someone was playing looks like to me
