I seem to recall that using subdomains is a bad idea if you're integrating with vb3. It can cause problems with paths (which looks like what's happening with your error messages), and it can also cause cookie problems.
Best bet is to install VB in /forums and PP in /gallery (as an example), both as directories right off of your web root.

Sounds like maybe a paths problem, but it's impossible to say without seeing the site.

Things are changing as I look, so I guess you're working on it
Did you install both PhotoPost and VBulletin in the same directory? That's my best guess from seeing what was happening. You want to put VB in /forums or similar and PhotoPost in /gallery or similar.

Well, PhotoPost is running from your root directory, not /gallery. That's why I was wondering if maybe you put them both in the same place, overwriting stuff maybe.
Also, /forum is being automatically redirected to /forums, so that might be causing some, but not all, of the problems. Sorry, it's really hard to describe this kind of stuff with the written word in a forum |

Honestly, its usually easier in these instances to just do it all again.
1. Create a folder in the root (htdocs) folder of your site called "forums". If its already there delete it and then recreate it. Upload everything in the VB3 "upload" folder to here. Run the VB3 install.
2. Create a folder in the root (htdocs) folder of your site called "gallery". If its already there delete it and then recreate it. Upload everything in the PhotoPost Pro package to here. Run the PhotoPost install, with VB3 integration choices. It's been about 18 months since I've installed PhotoPost from scratch, but if you input all the choices right it should work fine.
I'd recommend creating a new MySQL database for this too, so that nothing is left over from the previous attempt.

well please show us where you are with it. Our installation instructions should be pretty clear there as I know we have given you that link and every link I show here is an invalid domain so where is your gallery?

hi chuck
i apologise for the that i have lack of experience in doing this so i am a bit confused
i have just installed vbulletin forum no probs
now this is where i get stuck installing photopost i am uploading all the files of photopost into my web server so it is /gallery and my forum is /forum
i have two databases one for the gallery and one for the forum i want to install the forum and photopost on digitaldownunder.com am i right that i have to point my domain to /gallery to run the install? that means by doing that i am taking the domain off the vbulletin so when if and when i get photopost to install and intergrate does that mean i point my domain to vbulletin and photopost will be there as well
sorry if i dont make sense it is hard to get the point across in words lol i am better on the phone
thanks tina
