Photopost and vbulletin would be installed on the same domain
simply go to your gallery directory from your forum like so http://www.mydomain.com/gallery/install.php
You have install instructions already so I assume you have set permissions and done all that
You simply put your photopost database on the config screen where asked and put vb database info in the user database portion. You run through the install and select external integration make sure vb3 is the dropdown highlighted and answer all questions correctly on step 4 meaning the correct table prefix of vb if there is any and the cookie prefix which is most likely bb
Now on the last step of install you make sure the server path urls are correct to forum and gallery and you can turn on the 3 advanced integration swithes for vb3
Thats all there is to it your done with install.
I dont really know what you mean by domain off. |

Where is your photopost? You have given us a link to the forum not photopost.
Your problem is most likely you are inputting an incorrect url for photopost on install but of course I would actually need to see your site for this

well again Tina that would have seemed to be a link to your forum not photopost.
Remember your vbulletin is here http://www.digitaldownunder.com/index.php
You said your gallery was suppose to be there http://www.digitaldownunder.com/gallery/index.php
Just remember to use the proper urls on install
Your site once again does not show so I am not sure what your doing there to vb and photopost |

what do you mean no go?
I only see a few minor issues basically from you entering either relative paths or incorrect paths
Now example you have the proper forum server path as your loading the vb header? However when asked on install you entered your forum url as this? http://digitaldownunder.com/DDU Forum
That is obviously incorrect so that is issue 1
Issue 2 is your header image from the forum is a relative link no big deal easily corrected
Now if you tell us where the forum is we can tell you how to correct these two issues

hey chuck
thank you so much chuck i see what is happening here now
when i first install vbulletin to bring up the install page it should look like this right http://www.digitaldownunder.com/foru...ll/install.php
thats if i renamed the vbulletin folder to forums
but there is the problem when i enter that it says error page can not be found
and it is the same when i install photopost.
so what i did was just install it as PhotoPost Install Script for photopost http://www.digitaldownunder.com/install/install.php for vbulletin
so if i cant get the install page to come up with the right directory what do i do?
is that the problem?????????

well the urls your giving me all seem to be bogus because the script does not exist so everytime i go to your site nothing exists. http://www.digitaldownunder.com/install/install.php
Second look at the url your trying to install vbulletin on top of Photopost?
Thats why everyone here is confused we dont really know what your doing. As stated before if you install the programs into two separate directories the urls would look like this http://www.digitaldownunder.com/gallery/install.php http://www.digitaldownunder.com/foru...ll/install.php
See how the install scripts run from the respective directories and the programs are in their proper places. Is this some hosting server or is this some machine you are configuring? I would suggest installing the programs as I note.

ok i have succesfully installed both vbulletin and photopost yayyyyyyy!!!!!!!
but i have another problem it seems like i have to log twice once for the gallery and then for the forum??????
this is the link to the photopost gallery Main Index - DigitalDownUnder
it seems also that only admins have the upload photos option and when you press on it it says Sorry, you don't have permission to upload photos.
i am not sure if it has intergrated properly
and if it has how do i navigate between the forums and gallery
thanks
tina

ok i have figured out the upload images scenario lol that is all good
when i am in the gallery and i press on the usercp option it takes me to the forum but then i cant get back to the gallery so i am unable to navigate from the gallery to the forum lol
i thought maybe this is a cookie problem or even a paths problem but i don't know
oh the other thing is i uploaded a image and it does not create a thumbnail i know when you do the install it asks for something to do with that but i didn't do anything so what can i do for that
and how do i create the navigation buttons and is there any themes i can use other than the default where do i get them from lol
thanks
Tina

See what happens when you install both applications in their own directories like I explained. Cookies and Login Problems!!
Yes if your login is not recognized it is cookie issues. Try setting your cookies as noted here. Make sure also in your config settings in admin you have the proper vbulletin license number set where asked. This is license number should be at the top of any vb file not the customer number of vb.
