I've had this error for some time, and I have not been able to fix it. When trying to upload files I get the following error:

Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.

Error message:

Nobody replied to my original message. Is there anyone that has a clue as to what is going wrong here? Why can't I upload images without it erroring out?

Threads do get lost time to time.

Now have you tried something like this is trying to process lots of files. I would assume here your only having this issue processing lots of files at a time

No Workie!

Chuck,

This is just weird. And I am willing to give you access if necessary to test this out.

When I upload photos that are already in an upload folder is takes me to a blank page and uploads nothing.

When I try it by adding files from my local hard drive, it takes me to the page to modify the text for each photo and approve, but then takes me to bulkupload.php with a blank screen and does nothing.

I just tried it again with one photo and it took me to uploadphoto.php with a blank page and uploaded nothing.

This is all after the change that you told me to make to the pp-inc.php file.

So I'm not getting 500 errors now, instead it's doing nothing!

another update....

Just a couple of notes to go with...

1. I am using photopost within subdreamer

2. This issue isn't new, it's been a problem since I installed it. It's never worked quite right.

Main Index - Acanthus 477 Photo Gallery is where it's at.

Have you tried clearing out the uploads directory totally under photopost meaning ftp into your photopost directory go to uploads and delete all the numeric directories under there and apply the change to pp-inc.php noted in the thread I linked and then try to upload a file?

No, I am moving the files now and I'll try again. Is it safe to move all folders except the one that I'm trying to upload, or should I get rid of them all and just try to upload from the local drive? I don't like having to put file names in one by one from the local drive, is there a way to bulk upload a local folder?

Why is it important to have those folders removed? How does that affect current uploads?

Update.

Chuck,

I removed all of the folders and placed my photos in a folder within my photopost main folder. It stated that it is processing my pictures, and took me back immediately to the album without uploading anything.

An upload of one single photo took me to http://www.acanthus477.com/477photos/uploadphoto.php and a blank page.
