strange "Indexpage", no cats selectable, wired [] under Thumbs

Hello All,

I just did an upgrade from 5.62 to 6.1 uploaded all new templates, stylesheets, languages, images, forums and php files (modified the configs to my needs) and done upgradescript 5.62 to 6 and 6 to 6.1.

And right after the upgrade the Indexpage looks like:

how get that fixed?

If I jump directly to a categorie I got an errormessage like

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

Script:

Result: Unknown column 'c' in 'where clause'

It is a vB 3.6.10pl2 and 5.62 works fine before.

Your gallery is closed. Is it still an issue? Try turning off your category cache in Admin => Global Options.

I closed the gallery because it was unusable that way ... now - after turn off category cache it is usable again.

Did the tamplates changed from 5.62 to 6.1? becaus I've had some template modifications in place ... can I use the 5.62 templates or do I have to rewrite the 6.1 templates?

You need to use the new templates and rehack in any modifications you did to correctly work with 6.1 lots of changes.

Is that with the cache something to worry about?

No not at all your cache just needed to update. You could have turned it off to reload it and things would have been fine.
