| 6.1 - Unable to upload photos
I get this error on upload: Quote: |
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '[path]/photopost/data/501/thumbs/mirrors3.jpg' for writing: No such file or directory in [path]/photopost/image-inc.php on line 159
| And nothing is in the upload and data folders.
The gallery shows blank thumbs and little cross instead of an image: PT Cruiser GT - Галерея Российского PT Cruiser клуба
What's wrong?

I would suggest a couple things
1. Make sure your paths are correct in global and storage options in admin.
Looks to me like your server paths are incorrect

I checked the paths and they seem to be correct. Any other ideas?

Feel free to email us at our support email the ftp login and admin login and url to photopost but no sorry not without looking at your install would I have any ideas as the error you report is absolute server issue with permissions. It can only be permissions or path is wrong.

I see a photo uploaded to your site although it looks like you have turned off in upload options the ability to create large and medium images.
What exactly are we trying to assist with now since things on your site have been changed?

I didn't want to allow medium size images, only original and thumbs.
When I turn on the the ability to create large and medum images and try to upload I get this error:
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '[path]/photopost/data/501/thumbs/img_015_1_1.jpg' for writing: No such file or directory in [path]/photopost/image-inc.php on line 159
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '[path]/photopost/data/501/medium/img_015_1_1.jpg' for writing: No such file or directory in [path]/photopost/image-inc.php on line 159
Warning: filesize(): stat failed for [path]/photopost/data/501/medium/img_015_1_1.jpg in [path]/photopost/image-inc.php on line 937
Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in [path]/photopost/image-inc.php on line 937
And:
Impossible to read file format: /data/home/ptcruiser/board/photopost/data/501/medium/img_015_1_1.jpg

well as noted you need to verify two things here
1. The data directory and all directories underneath it at every level are 777.
2. You need to verify what your real server path is. Your changing your error message so hard for me to be of assistance.
Like if your data directory server path is truly this
/data/home/ptcruiser/board/photopost/data/
Then make sure thats the path entered in global and storage options in admin.
I still see no email from you with an admin login so I can not be of assistance without that info

Done that. I also resent the info to both addresses from my hotmail account? May be my e-mails are in your spam folder?

Tried uploading photo. Still get the same errors.
Did you change any paths? I don't seem to notice any difference.

Ok, I think I know wat the problem was.
I had these albums and tried to upload there, but couldn't. I deleted the albums, recreated them again, and it now works. Strange...
But thanks for helping. I hope it will keep woking.
One last question. What shoudl I do if I don't want to use middle-sized images?
