Post-upgrade Problems

I recently upgraded to UBB Threads 7.3, and to PhotoPost 6.1. Two problems show up:

--When you login via PhotoPost, you get a string of error messages followed by "Login Successful.". The login does NOT succeed and the only way to login is via UBB. I have resynced the user groups and done what seems necessary. Is there a control panel issue? Regardless, it should not say that the login was successful when it isn't. This problem also shows up in the Class Ads software, with identical symptons.

--Previoiusly, users got a list of all the links below a photo enlargement. Now there is just an icon; click on it and you get the links. I have modified the template so it says "Click for more links" next to the icon (the icon is so small that its meaning is obsure). Can I go back to the old way and get all the links without clicking?

The icon link is how things are in 6.1

As far as login have you integrated with Threads 7?

There is a thread here on changes in 7.3

That line has to be 5 not 4 as guest group is 5 not 4 in that version

yes, my original PhotoPost was integrated with 7.1, and I've upgraded to 7.3 and upgraded PhotoPost. I've clicked the buttons to resync the usergroups.

I cannot find a threads7.php file. The BB runs off of ubbthreads.php, but I can't find a line similar to one mentioned in your post.

Our integration file in our forums subdirectory of the gallery is threads7.php

That is our code and the line noted must be set to 5 for guests.

You can then resync groups and make sure to rename any groups that display down the line as we cache group names that might throw you off as well.

Let me make sure I get this right. Previously, I had five groups: Administrators, Moderators, Users, Guests, and Banned. Now its six groups: Administrators, Global Moderators, Moderators, Users, Guests, and Banned. Which ones need to be renamed?

(I changed the threads7.php file and resynced, but still have the old problem.)

We display groups in order 1 through 6 down the line in our usergroups manager so rename them in order based on the names and group ids in threads. We cache the groups so you dont lose your setting

I have done that and still have the same problem with logins. And users still can't post an ad in the Classifieds section.
