Unable to move file after upgrading to 6.1

I'm getting the following error when trying to upload a file after upgrading to 6.1

Unable to move file [/tmp/phphIL0vM] -> [/home/httpd/vhosts/**********/httpdocs/forum/gallery/uploads/368/Greg_Spires.jpg]

All the permissions are set properly... Please help!

Please check a few things.

1. double check the 368 uploads directory and make sure it is indeed 777 permissions

2. double check in global options in admin your server path to uploads is correct.

3. Check in phpinfo in admin that safe mode is OFF on the server.

1. the permissions are set to 777

2. here is the path: /home/httpd/vhosts/*********/httpdocs/forum/gallery/data/

and it is correct

3. safe mode is off

Anything else I should check?

now that I think about it, the database resides on one server, and the website is on another. That is the only other thing I changed, but I did that before the software upgrade and it was working fine...

I was specifically talking about the 368 directory under uploads make sure it is 777 permissions you seem to be talking about the data directory here but thats not where your error is.

The owner of most of the directories under the 'uploads' directory was a user named 'bob', I changed them all to the owner named 'apache' and reset all their permissions to 777. I'm still getting the same error

You can email us at support at photopost dot com with a url and admin login as well as ftp but that error can only be caused by the 3 things listed that I am seeing

Not really if permissions and path are right and safe mode is off your next step would be to contact the host because if thats all set right sounds like a server issue but let me check first

Send a message via ICQ to Mojito
I have the same issue. The folders is 777, the path to upload is correct and safe mode is off.
Is there a solution?

What is your error because if permissions are correct and path is correct and safe mode is off there should be no issue.
