ACK! I'm pulling my hair out! (What's left of it!)

http://www.dansmith.ca/forum
http://www.dansmith.ca/photopost

After I log on to my VB forums, at the top of the main gallery page (when I can get there), is:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in E:\webclients\dansmith\photopost\pp-inc.php on line 4138

I click on "1 day" for Recent Photos and get this:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in E:\webclients\dansmith\photopost\pp-inc.php on line 4138

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in E:\webclients\dansmith\photopost\forums\vb3.php on line 66

When I log in to adm-index.php, I get:
Invalid login. Please check your username and password, or register.
...when I'm already logged on to my VB forums.

I've checked my paths, all seem to be correct, nothing indicates there could be a path error.

I chose external integration during setup.

I'm finally getting back into this business after taking a break for awhile. Needless to say it's very frustrating to come back to this.

Any assistance provided would be most helpful.

Thanks,
Dan

Code:

I do not see any issues with that query provided things are installed correctly

My suggestion would be to reinstall and on your config portion make sure the database info for Photopost and vbulletin are entered in the correct place. You can then run through install make sure to choose external integration and in the next step select vb3 and fill out all pertinent info

You may also post a regular user test login so I can login and see any errors.

Thanks Chuck, I've already reinstalled this about 6 times, deleted my database and recreated it during setup.

If I could get to my admin control panel, I could create a test user, couldn't I? But I can't.

If you sign up a a test user on the forums, it'll let you in once you put in the photopost URL quoted above.

You can create a test user in your vb forum and post it here since your integrated with vb all users come from there not photopost.

http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/index.php

http//www.photopost.com/photopost/index.php

I can show many examples that work as we know it work. I need a test user to figure out what might be misentered during the install that could cause this.

Do you have phpmyadmin on the server to view your database you can pm my the admin user and the link to phpmyadmin and login to see things.

Could it be that there are no errors, just warnings, and I'm seeing them because my PHP.ini file has a statement to show errors and warnings? I'm not at home to be able to look at it but will be later today.

Is you vbulletin installed in a database called photopost? I find that odd just looking at your install script. Have not looked at the pm data yet

No, my vbulletin is in a database called "forum". Once you get into phpymadmin, it's at the top of the list.

Correct thats your error then. In your config on the first step of install under user database info you have placed the forum user database as photopost not forum

So with that in mind fill in the proper database information and run through your install.

Your site keeps being down for some reason so I can never look at it.

If you're going to reinstall it, ensure you choose GD2 as the image thumbnail generator.

Nope, no go. I changed it to "forum" and it still comes up with:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in E:\webclients\dansmith\photopost\pp-inc.php on line 4138

We're getting somewhere now. At least I'm down to 1 error message from 3.

What I am saying is have you gone through the entire install entering the correct info. You need to grab the forum usergroups to get rid of that error and to do that you need to run all the way through the install with all the correct info.

Until then, thanks for your help.
