Admin problems

We have upgraded our photopost and are integrated with a phpBB3 message board.

We have a problem that our registered users are given admin status and when I change things out in Edit Usergroups everything is set correctly for registered users so there isn't anything to change.

These are our usergroups. The ones in all caps come from the new phpBB boards and the others from the old phpBB2 boards? I am just not understanding how this all works. I know that at first the admin couldn't upload photos because the Administrator (which was the admin on our original DB) was set to upload but the ADMINISTRATORS which is what the admin is called on the new phpBB3 boards was set to no. So I changed that...but I don't see two registered users.

Guests
Administrator
Registered
GLOBAL_MODERATORS
ADMINISTRATORS
BOTS

I am beyond baffled on this one.

Since this is admin problem I hesitate to post a link to our gallery here...can I send it to you in a PM?

First off you may have issues if you never cleared your usergroups table as they are completely different integrations. My suggestion is you clear your usergroups table and rerun the install to integrate with phpbb3 make sure to install correctly cookie name etc and you should be fine and can set permissions in admin. I beleive your issue should be your setting admin permissions for the regular users group which is different in phpbb3 than phpbb2 just like the admin groups are different.

Ok...so I need to clear these user groups tables in my photopost database under phpmyadmin and then ftp the install file in photopost and run that again? When you say clear....do you mean delete the table?

Is there anything else I need to do first, during or afterwards? Will the install make any changes to the default.css files or header files which I have already changed?

No your not going to change files just upload install.php and rerun it. You just delete the entries under usergroups table and run the install.

You just clear the usergroups table and rerun install. It will not change header files etc

You would just delete the entries not the table and rerun install.php
