phpbb2 to phpbb3 integration

I have searched, but haven't found any instructions that specifically deal with converting photopost from phpbb2 to phpbb3 integration. I've ran the latest install.php script and chose phpbb3 integration, but am having some problems and would like to see if I'm doing/not doing something ridiculous before I start whining.

Thanks

well you need to delete the photopost usergroups table and then run install and answer things correctly including proper cookie name etc but thats the problem.

Thanks Chuck, I tried that, but still must have something messed up.

I was getting "failed to open stream" errors for the index.htm files in the data subdirectories 500,1, & 2 while running the install script. I changed those file permissions and dropped all photopost tables in my phpbb3 database and ran the install script again.

After the changes, the install script finished all tasks without errors, but the new install shows 0 photos, 0 albums, 0 comments, etc. It does list the number of "Registered Users" correctly though.

For the time being, I've uploaded my backup config-in*.php files and am running the gallery from the old phpbb2 database again.

if it shows o photos comments then you have not ran install over the current photopost database tables but used a new prefix.
if your not showing the correct phpbb3 user count make sure you used the correct user database in the config and on step 4 selected phpbb3 and entered the correct table prefix.

I finally got it. I copied the existing photopost tables from the phpbb2 database to the newer phpbb3 database then ran the install script on it.

I was confused in thinking that the install/upgrade process would create the new tables in the newer phpbb3 database and transfer existing data from the older phpbb2 database.

Gotta try the same thing on the classifieds script now.

Thanks
