Upgrade changes...

1. After upgrading from 5.62 to 6.02 I noticed some unfavorable changes.

Before the upgrade there were links below each photo in a users gallery as such...

http://www.hometheatershack.com/images/editphoto.gif

Now it just has a Linked Thumbnail URL with no "copy to clipboard link" next to it.

We lost our BB Code Link and Direct Link.

These were very handy links... how can we get them back?

2. When I click on a users name link under the Gallery Index, it takes me to their Profile as a default. Most members do not care to complete two profiles... one in our forum and one in the Photopost gallery. How can we get their user name link when clicked to open up to their Photos as a default? Other members go to our Photopost gallery to see photos anyway, not member profiles.

Thanks!

Hello these are not issues at all. I think you are not use to the new look and feel as some things changed like icons for things which people have been asking for years. The ubbcode etc is still shown if you have it turned on and there will be a more icon next to the showing code to expand as that has been moved to ajax. The photopost profile is essential to users for alot of features in our program.

You are free to modify code in a manner you wish to achieve any result you wish and their are modification forums you can discuss this with other users on how to achieve this but we can only support the default released code.

The photopost profile is not essential to our users. Obviously not too many of other users either since nearly all of them I visited with a forum do not use it either. It simply creates the necessity to click another link to get to someones pictures. Options are always better and this seems like it would have been easy for you guys to include as an option in the admin options panel.

There should be an option for text or icons... for those members who do not care to have to play the guessing game with icons.

I have the ubbcode turned on, but for whatever reasons I had to turn it off and then turn it back on to get it to show the "more" button.

What happened to the "copy to clipboard" button? I cannot imagine anyone complaining about that bit of convenience.

The copy to clipbpard only worked on one browser not all.

You would highlight the url and hit CTRL + C that works on all browsers.

I miss that feature of having that copy button there also!

There is no copy button anymore. You use CTRL + C
