photopost and vb installation

Hi sorry for to trouble you guys again.

1) Trying to install photopost pro with vb integration. The initial installation i am facing these error messages. My forum is live at the moment, afraid of affecting it during this installation.

2) Btw i notice that the upload of photopost files include a "forum" folder. So when the installation process when they ask for forum path should it be my vb forum or the photopost forum.

1. The errors you post tell me you have not set your data directory at every level to 777 per the installation instructions. Setting permissions correctly will get rid of this

2. You use the path to your vbulletin directory our forums subdirectory is the one that includes all the integration files for forums

I managed to complete the installation process. but wen i type the web address now i encounter this error.

Thats an easy one. On the last step of install you did not input the correct address for vbulletin in the server path where asked. You can ftp to your site and input on the $vbpath line the correct server path to vbulletin there and save the file and you should be fine.

You ftp to your site and edit the config-int.php file and check the line noted.

well i tried to used the import script but am not able to fill in the entire path. is this normal?

Encountered this when i was doing the custom import. The paths are for this 2 options. believe it isn't long enough toaccept my input.

The problem is at the form doesnt allows me to type the entire path. There is a limit on the number words that i can type.

You can edit the import file vbag.php and change the maxlength parameters to a higher number should your path require a higher number

maybe maxlength="75"

anyway to ease the installation i simply uninstalled vbgaller. But how do i go about adding the photopost gallery link to the vb forum.

You would edit the navbar in your vbulletin styles and add a link there to your gallery.

Hi chuck,

This is the site and but the links do not allow the user to go to and fro from one site to another. Links in the forum navbar works but those in the photopost didnt. Thanks

well I show you have a link in your navbar for the forum but not for the gallery so you would need to edit the navbar template and add a link like this

I read through a whole bunch of posts and I am sure the paths are correct and the data directory including subdirectories are all set to 777.
