logins not working following upgrade

I upgraded from 5.1 to 6.0 today and everything seem okay, except I can't login. Thought maybe it was cookie related, so I deleted all cookies and that didn't seem to matter...

The photopost is at:
http://www.tincantourists.com/photopost/

I also tried to register with a new userid/password and registration worked (checked the database and it was there but I still couldn\'t logon with it.

Any hints on what might be going on?

How about a test login and I will see how your cookie is created.

tbone2 March 8th, 2008 07:05 PM

sure

Try userid "test" and "test" for the password

UPGRADE TABLE pp_settings SET setting=\'\' WHERE id=173

Run that query in phpmyadmin and see if that helps.

tbone2 March 8th, 2008 07:24 PM

removed ".tincantourists.com" from id=173
set it to empty

---------

Doesn\'t look like that had any effect

Chuck S March 8th, 2008 07:46 PM

how about this

UPGRADE TABLE pp_settings SET setting=\'\' WHERE id=172
UPGRADE TABLE pp_settings SET setting=\'/\' WHERE id=171

tbone2 March 8th, 2008 07:56 PM

Interesting...
171 was set to \'/\'
but 172 had a value, by deleting that it now let me login - thanks!!!

Thanks for you help last night!

I have one more item that I like to figure out.

The stats widget on the main page isn\'t showing numbers but on all the other pages it is. Anything I should look at to try to resolve?

Have you uploaded the correct new templates and all new php files?

tbone2 March 10th, 2008 01:09 PM

As far as I can tell I uploaded all the files needed?

Chuck S March 10th, 2008 01:42 PM
