Uploaded file is not being moved into the data directory

Good morning,

I'm having a hard time to get my galeries up and running again after reinstalling my server (all the paths changed).

I checked and rechecked the settings (all the new paths are there) and the chmodding and can't find the reason for this:
The jpg-File is being uploaded into the uploads directory but it is not copied/moved to the data directory. Consequently I get a "Unable to read the format of file: ... photopost/data/634/medium/Blick_aufs_Meer.jpg" message.
Does anyone of you have a clue what I should change to get the galerie running again?

Thanks,
Jan

That would seem to tell me the 634 directory or at least the medium directory under 634 is not 777. Your data and uploads directories at every level must be 777 permissions.
