phorum mod and upgrade from 5.5 to 6.01 problem

Unzipped photopost601.
I edited config-inc.php and I uploaded all files.
I run upgrade.php, followed the steps and upgraded from 5.5 to 6.01

I got the error
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/xenios/halkidiki-www/photo-album/forums/photopost.php

I compared pp_setting in backed up database an I found that setting 41 (User Registration System) was set to "photopost". I changed to "phorum" but I get the same error again
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/xenios/halkidiki-www/photo-album/forums/phorum.php

Please advise
Thank you,
Nikos

It would help if you gave us a line number for an error but it looks like you did an install not an upgrade and messed up your settings for the program. Please state the exact error here so we can respond.

yeah seems like you did an install not an upgrade as I stated. Make sure your database settings are correct in the config file and setting 83 in the settings table in mysql has your correct phorum table prefix.

prefix in pp_settings is correct
I checked config file and everything is right
The only file that I run was upgrade.php and not install.php
I just followed the instruction form upgrade.txt

2) Upload all files - except config-inc.php, unless you modified it from the ZIP file - to
your server. You do not need install.php for an upgrade.

3) Run upgrade.php and depending on your version, run any necessary upgrades.

4) When done with upgrades, remove the upgrade.php file.

6) You are done!

Something is wrong with phorum.php. I uploaded the old file and it partially works. At least I'm able to log in. But the rest of photopost is still a mess.

The file I sent you works fine on the phorum version you sent me to run it on. I will gladly look into it if you sent the url ftp admin and ftp logins and database logins to support@photopost.com
