Those are urls not server paths as discussed in this thread. Is this the same site or are you highjacking someone else's thread?

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
If you get an error like that then in the config-int.php file on the last step of install the server path to vbulletin has been entered incorrectly. You would either reinstall with the correct path or edit that file and on the $vbpath line make sure you have the correct path to vbulletin not url.

I hope this helps.

SQL error after upgrade

Hi:

Just upgraded to 6.01 from 5.6 and everything appeared to go fine. Only problem is I get this error when I click on a thumbnail in the gallery: Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/showphoto.php on line 83

The galleries aren't populated which seems to be either a path error or db connection error but I double and triple checked the paths and the username/password.

Also I get this error when I try to access the admin control panel: Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql5.sock:3306' (2) in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/pp-inc.php on line 200
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost database. [$php_errormsg]

Clearly I am not connecting to the db but can't for the life of me figure out why.

I recently migrated the db to mySQL5 but didn't have any problem. I am using the db host name recommended by the hosting company instead of localhost.

Thanks.

Cal

well first off on an upgrade you never replace your config file and also it would appear also as a result of the errors you post you have not ran the upgrade script.

My suggestion is to double check your config-inc.php file for the correct database information table prefix etc as it would appear you replaced your config file and did not update it with the correct information. Once you do this you can then run the upgrade script and you should be fine.

If you want someone to look at what you might have wrong you would need to email support@photopost.com with the proper information to access both your photopost admin as well as urls and info to access your database viewer and logins and ftp logins as well so we can verify your correct info and see you have this proper info where it needs to be.

Calvorn and accountant have no relation to my site. Guys, please lets not confuse different problems.

I was having a similar problem with AndrewD's Links and Download Manager and tried to solve that first in the hope that the solution would work for both. Andrew has been so kind to take a look in my admin and fixed the settings.

It turned out that since I was not using a url yet, but 87.252.61.230/~mydomain/forum/
this messed with things and settings needed to be adjusted to get LDM working.
I do not know if this is relevant, but I thought I'd ask.

Further I have used vbadvanced their forumpath.php to define the forum path. This forum path is the same that makes other applications like LDM working, but not the same as the forum path that you sent me.
You can find my forumpath.php in my forum directory. You have the url.

When I use that path, then the installation script gives an error stating that it is not able to write in the data directory(BTW: I am 100% sure that my Data directory is writeable.) and gives the wrong path to the Data directory:
Basically the erroneous path it gives is forumpath/photopost/data
instead of photopostpath/data

I do not know if my mogrify path is correct and do not know how to find this. As far as this is relevant for GD2.

I really hope that I have given you any useful information, because I have been banging my head on my desk for these last days trying over and over again. And the fear that I will never resolve this is real.

I dont have any information from you and if we did this would have been a week or so ago and there are no open emails unresponded to.

Please email support@photopost.com with urls admin login etc and we can test upload function for you. I am not sure what LDM is or these other vb programs but we will gladly double check that everything is fine with your vb integration and photopost.

Thanks Chuck. My image gallery works fine. But I do have one error left when I try to access any member profile on my forum.
Quote:
Warning: require(/home/drugsforum/domains/my-forum.co.uk/public_html/photopost//config-int.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /member.php(838) : eval()'d code on line 170

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/mydomain/domains/my-forum.co.uk/public_html/photopost//config-int.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/mydomain/domains/my-forum.com/public_html/forum/member.php(838) : eval()'d code on line 170
I have your 'Recent Images on Profile Page' hack installed. Since vb 3.7 is coming soon, I reverted my MEMBERINFO template.
I don't understand why my member profiles are trying to open photopost.
What should I do?

Remove the profile hack if you dont want to use it. Your error is because your trying to use the hack but in the setup of the hack you have a wrong path entered note the two // slashes.
