Error create thumb ... 154

Hello!
I updated the 5.6 to 6.01 and now I got this error:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 154

Command:

"/usr/bin/X11/mogrify" -strip -resize "120x" -resize "x78<" -gravity center -crop 120x78+0+0 -quality 80 -unsharp 10 (path)"

Any suggestion is welcome !

Thanks

Did you replace your config? Is that the correct path to mogrify? Reason I ask is thats a very atypical mogrify setup. If you set in Global Options in Admin do uploads work?

Okay so your saying that is the correct path to mogrify on your server i am assuming if you did not change anything. You can only show the path by sshing into your server and typing whereis mogrify or your host can tell you where mogrify is at. Did they recently upgrade the server? Do uploads work if you set your processor to GD2?

I've follow this procedure to update from 5.6 to 6.0 :
I've uploaded all files except confing_inc and int, then I've executed the update and then got that error.

Ten minutes before (with 5.6) everything works fine (I'm using imagemagik)

I dont know if there are a server update.

The upload with GD2 give me this error :
There was an error uploading this photo. Please report to System Administrator.

Thanks again

Okay definately looks like a permissions error. Two things one check in admin the phpinfo and make sure file uploads is on and safe mode is off. Next ftp to your server and set the data and uploads directories at every level down to 777 permissions.

No you said you set uploads and data to 777. The point being here are all the directories at every level beneath set to 777 permissions?

How about linking a url to your phpinfo on this server? Your saying uploads work for neither processor which points to permissons if both are installed and do not work.

Okay well your telling me permissions are correct and that both image processors are installed on your system, safe mode is off yet neither processor works. Something is definately amiss there so I suggest you email support@photopost.com with full direct url admin login and ftp information. Once we have this information a technician can go in and tell you exactly what your issue is.

I see.

But please, consider this :

With 5.6 work
Update to 6.0
Immediatly stop to working (I follow all instruction word after word)

What problem can occur after an update ?
Maybe I can follow that direction.

Thanks!

Maybe you did not run your upgrade script which the upgrade directions state to? Upgrade directions are located in the documentations folder. There seems to be a growing epidemic in support communities nowadays. People trying to get help by not providing any information about their sites which does not give us enough information to make in some cases an accurate or a full diagnosis and correction.

I dont want open another thread, so I continue on this.

Well ...

I do a weird things :

I delete the 5.6 files in my hosting and keep only the data file and upload.
I installed a new photopost (6.01) in the same directory
Start a new installation
create a new database (previously I used pp_ and the new is called pp2_)
Setup some minor things and permission
Looking the new, empty gallery.
Try to upload an image and work!

Now, I go in the admin and chage the database for both confing from pp2_ to pp_ (the old one).
The old gallery is up again with all images.
Try to upload and ... I got the first error (topic 1).

Maybe this experiment can help !

Btw, I've a complete backup of the older gallery but I dont know how restore in the new one!

Thanks for the patience!

Correct I understand what your saying but you never answered my question. Have you correctly ran all necessary upgrade scripts when you upgraded?

Your only difference here would be your database and the fact you more than likely did not run the upgrade.

As we stated before if you would like us to assist email support@photopost.com with admin login url and ftp info.

Yes, the first time I've done everything for the upgrade.
Now my situation is different because I can restore the backup in the new gallery. The point is I dont know how restore a backup.

Anyway looks like the old database have something broken inside, but I dont know how repair.

Now I have both 5.6 and 6.01 database and for sure is not a mogrfy problem.

Any idea ?

Thanks
