Running the importer ??

I am back with another question and again claiming ignorance.
I have installed PhotoPost and am ready to import my Coppermine gallery into PhotoPost. I have read the directions, but apparently don't understand a key part of it. "Run the importer through your web browser"
I have read so many posts and it seems everyone else understand this because I can't find the answer.

I have SMF Forum. So to run the importer in my browser I did this:

First I have the coppermine.cnf.php and coppermine.php in my PhotoPost directory. And the CHMOD is 777 for them both.
Then I go to browser and enter:
www.mysite/forum/coppermine/coppermine.cnf.php I also tried
www.mysite/forum/coppermine/coppermine.php I even tried
www.mysite/forum/photopost/coppermine.cnf.php
Anyway, apparently I just don't understand how to "Run the importer through your web browser"
Could someone please enlighten me. I have tried every combination except the correct one.
BTW, my PhotoPost does show the correct number of my members, so I think I have the install right. Now if I can just import the photos and comments I will be happy.
Please excuse my ignorance. I am really just learning.
Thanks in advance.

Once again Chuck you are a lifesaver. I thought I had tried every possible combination. But, that was it.
I hope I don't have to bother you again. But you are sooooooo appreciated.

I have fought this all day and finally have to ask for help again.
I get to the end of the Import Script, I see all my Coppermine categories, user names, albums, comments.... flashing by as if they are importing, and then I get this:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/content/f/l/e/MYSITE/html/cardmaking/gallery/coppermine.php on line 735
Importing 1 files .... please wait
Import Done

Then I follow the rest of your directions to scan database, ect.
But still I have no changes in my PhotoPost gallery.
I have checked and rechecked the Coppermine and PhotoPost Database Configurations and have found some mistakes, but corrected them.
I can only apologize for bothering you again. But would greatly appreciate help again.

Chuck, I'm really not trying to bother you but just wanted to ask something. I see that you made some progress with my gallery, but it still didn't import everything. The question I want to ask is it time I give up and ask my members to just start over with a empty gallery? I don't want to keep hassling you, I know you are busy.
So if there doesn't seem to be a way to make this work. I will just have to loose what I have so far and hope my members understand.
I really appreciate you trying to help.

well we are looking at it. I need to investigate your file system and see why files are not found but the only reason the importer did not work for you is because none of the database variables you entered where correct. You had the wrong vbgallery table prefix entered and the entire Photopost database info was incorrect in the import config this is why we where able to do an import and you where not. I will let you know about the files soon.

Chuck, I've decided to go with what I have. Thanks for the help. The only thing I can't figure out and need to fix is the User Galleries (I renamed Member Galleries). When I first started it was working right. Now there are no images in it. When I (or a member) uploads an image it should show in the category they choose and also their "My Photos" but it doesn't go into My Photos. I've looked for a setting that will set it up like that, but can't find anything. I even tried making Member Galleries the parent gallery of all others, but it still didn't place any images in the Member Galleries. I hope this makes sense.
If you could help me with this I should be ready to use the gallery and be able to stop bothering you.
Thank you so much for any help.
