help with upgrade

Okay I tried to upgrade to 6.0 today in a hurry & I botched it real good. I didn't know what version I was upgrading from & I tried to guess & now I can't get anywhere. On my gallery index page I get this error message...

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare update_whoonline() (previously declared in /home/harlgx/public_html/gallery/pp-inc.php:4392) in /home/harlgx/public_html/gallery/forums/vb3.php on line 511

Can anyone tell me what I will need to do to fix this? Thanx!

well I guess since you said you botched it lets deal with each error. The error posted above tells me you have not uploaded all the new files. You need to upload everything from the distribution except for the config files or the install file.

You should then get rid of that error.

Okay I did as you suggested. The error is gone but the gallery index page is pretty messed up and just consists of the banner & the navbar, and it repeats itself all the way down the page. On the "forum" homepage I now have this error.

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/harlgx/public_html/gallery/inc_features.php on line 67

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/harlgx/public_html/gallery/inc_features.php on line 143

Thanx for your time Chuck.

Please post links.

Your forum photo plugin is easy just read the instructions here and uncomment and fill out the lines noted in the inc_features.php file as your photopost and vb are in separate databases.

As far as your gallery please post a url. I would suspect all upgrades have not been ran and it appears by your description which is why I want a url that your iponline table might be corrupt.

You would need to repair the tables in your database and then lets see if your missing any upgrades.

Okay I can handle the plugin no problem. How would I go about repairing the tables in the database? Is this an easy thing to do?

In your sites control panel you can do the database viewer phpmyadmin and issue an sql comand like so in the sql command box when viewing your gallery database like so

I can't see where in phpmyadmin to run the command. is it where it says "Run SQL query/queries" ?
I tried the command there but the gallery hasn't got any better. Not sure what I should have expected.
