I fresh downloaded the 6.0 (today) and installed as upgrade on my forum (running version was 5.6.2 perfectly working)

Loaded all files needed and version upgraded the config files.
So same configuration paths.

a) the gallery starts with warnings (see pic attached)
b) i cant acces admin page (blank page)

c) if u look at the red circle on menubar of the attached picture, something is missing and I guess is something upgraded on lang file. But link is black and the older are white

ps: - ( were made some upgrade to language files? Unfortunatelly I could not find the simple additions made from previous version and the new file is quite differently sorted)

I apologise for my broken english.

there is no pic attached here but this

http://www.macaroni.it/lacomunitadilulla/galleria/

what I see is a site that may not have had all upgrades ran.

Try turning off your category cache and rerun upgrades from 5.5-6.0

You would need to use the new language files if your missing strings.

Just do as instructed make sure you have uploaded all the new files except config files and run the upgrade script and turn off your category cache in admin global options.

Chuck,

language is now momentarly on english (renamed file to italian) just to avoid any conflict.
reguarding turning off category cache , how can i do that as i cant access admin panel?

to upgrade i uploaded ALL filed except configuration files then i runned upgrade.php
As i was coming from 562 i used the last option 561/562 to 6

Chuck,
no confusion at all on my last version - was 562 and working.

to upgrade i quote herebelow step by step

1) uploaded all files overwriting oldest.
2) compared configuration files and uploaded
3) logged in my forum (vb 368pl1) as admin and then runned onto gallery path the script upgrade.php safelly till the end of it
3) deleted as suggested upgrade.php
4) verified the issue
5) contacted you.

i tried again to upgrade now...but still same. i guess i reinstall all (datas were not so important as the gallery is not yet on users use.)

If your login worked before the upgrade it should work after.

You say you did not forget any upgrades yet the same issue still stands before you.

You uploaded all the new files that means all the subdirectories? Looks to me like your not uploading all the new files especially your forum integration file.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
thats the line it is choking on in pp-inc.php which suggests some files are old.
