error when emailing user password

I just used the link to email a user their password

Im not certain if the email went or not but I immediately received this

An error was encountered during execution of the query:

SELECT groupid,groupname FROM pp_usergroups WHERE groupid !=

The query returned with an errorcode of:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

It may be related to an imported user who had no usergroup and I couldnt assign her to a usergroup

Ended up deleting the account and the management process sent about 5 more identical emails

Okay so now that this user has a group has the error stropped? That would explain the error since a users usergroup should never be empty.

Integration type?

I used your import script to import from Coppermine to PP
There were less than 6 users imported
No integration

I guess not - Since there were no details in the error Im not sure what caused them - Im assuming it was attempting to edit the user - since I deleted the user and they re registered we haven't seen the error again

the other 3 imported users have usergroups - I bet it will all be good now

Not a problem yes it appears the empty usergroup indeed would cause this.
