Photos count not working as expected

The Photos count is not accurate (working as expected). It is showing 37 photos, when I actually have 11 photos total. I am fully aware I can go to PhotoPost admin panel and clear the category and it will put it back to zero. However, this is not an option. What can I do to get this field to reflect valid info? The stats box is correct and display the correct number of photos. It seems to just be a problem with the Photos count under categories. Please see attached screen shot.

Go into Admin => Scan Database and run the rebuild photos and comment counts that is the correct action to take.
