Upgrade from 5.5
 

I understand that you can't upgrade to 6.0 from 5.5; you need to install some of the intermediate versions? Is that right?

Which versions do I need to install to move from 5.5 to 6.0?

No not at all. You upload all files except the config files and run upgrade.php and select your upgrades. I upgraded someone all the way back on 4.0 today
