6.0 upgrade wierdness.

Please see THIS. . . . .

The index is completely borked.

Your gallery is closed I cant see anything. Please open it and make sure you have ran the upgrade script and ran any upgrades you need to run. Next go to admin edit categories and simply hit save.

Ok. That "clicking save" in the CATS options fixed it. Thanks!

Enjoy let me know if I can assist with anything else.

Thanks Chuck. I am still having a few issues.
I have voting galleries set up. One of our members "cleared his vote" today and it reset the entire contest by clearing all votes as if an admin cleared them.

Also, click on one of the images there and look at all of the signatures. They are all showing the BB markup codes. . .

HERE.

SIGPIC

Is that some new hacked bbcode?

Maybe something with your custom bbcodes.

I see signatures here on my site

ESAD September 28th, 2007 11:27 PM

No. All sigs were showing fine right before I did the upgrade. . . .
I don't have ANY custom BB code.

Chuck S September 29th, 2007 10:56 AM

The reason I am asking is because I have no idea nor have I ever seen sigpic as bbcode.

I can use bbcode in my signature and it displays correctly

How about you set me up a regular test user.

Just as an FYI, I experienced the same problem with my index on upgrade and the resolution above worked for me as well.

Chuck S September 30th, 2007 10:52 AM

Yes I have passed along to Michael to add a query on the upgrade to refresh the category cache.

You are kidding right? It's the code that inserts your signature picture when you upload it via the default sig picture uploading dialog within the USERCP. . .

Anyway. . . why is the gallery not displaying any bbcode correctly?
It's treating it as regular text.

Chuck S September 30th, 2007 06:32 PM

would you care for me to do the same test I did here in post 6 to show we parse bbcode fine in that field?

http://www.photopost.com/forum/photopost-pro-bug-reports/133569-v6-0-signature-not-displaying-correctly-comments.html

I dont know what sigpic is but its not regular bbcode because we use vbulletin to parse bbcode. I would suspect this is some new feature in vb we do not support at this time if sigpic is part of vb thats new. I am not familiar with it at all. If it is not parsed when we call vbulletin to parse bbcode then thats why it doesnt work. However bbcode shows fine.

ESAD October 22nd, 2007 10:48 PM

Check out the sigs here.

It isn't just the SIGPIC code that isn't being parsed. It is every bbcode in the signatures displayed within the gallery.
