Error when proceding to upgrade to v6

Quote:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /usr/home/0chroot/bellybe/home/bellybe/public_html/forums/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 209
I cannot connect to the Members database. []
This is the first time I am upgrading on my own and I am starting to think it was a bad idea... anyone know why this is happening?

Did you overwrite your config files on upgrade?

I would suggest you check your config-inc.php file and make sure you have the proper mysql info for both the photopost database and forum database where asked in that file.

That should correct your issue.

well you might want to check your vbulletin config file in their includes directory of your forum. Obviously whichever information your using in the photopost config file for your forum seems incorrect or maybe a typo?
