How can I upload non-album photos into other categories?

I meant to ask, how can I upload personal album photos into other categories.

I am trying to upload a photo that I want to go into a specific category and it will let me upload it with no problem.

The problem is, when I try to upload a photo from my personal album, it won't let me put that photo into a specif category. It is forcing the photo into the main category with personal albums.

How can I upload a photo that is my personal album into different category?

Once again, so there is no miscommunication. I can upload a photo into any category, no problem. It is only when they are going into my personal album, that it won't let me upload into other categories.

In Admin => Edit Usergroups set the setting that users can assign albums to categories then under MY ALBUMS on the main index you can edit your albums and assign them to the category you wish for them to show under a category.

I followed your instructions and assigned the album to a category called "Events" and it still will not show up in events. I attached a screen shot showing you what I am talking about. I would like for the 1 test photo I placed in the album to show up in Events. I even deleted the photo and went back and did it again, just to make sure I select the proper category from the drop downlist.

The green arrow in the picture is pointing to where I am trying to place this photo.

Note: If I do not put the photo in the album, I can then easily pace it in the "Events" category with no problem. However, if I upload a photo into album, it is not acknowledging the category I am assigning to it.

I would suggest you post a url and test login to your photopost so we can see your site and see what you have done. I am trying to describe the process and I need to see what your doing. If I assign an album to a category it will show under there like so
