Need Help! Urgent! Members Not Able To Log In

Members could login without problem until I added PhotoPost. From what I can tell reading the threads on this forum, it is a cookies issue. My cookie settings are as follows...

vB Cookies Options
Path to Save Cookies: /
Cookie Domain: blank

PhotoPost Cookie Settings
PhotoPost Cookie Path: /
Forum Cookie Prefix: blank
PhotoPost Cookie Domain: .mydomainname.com

PhotoPost config-int.php variable $vbpath
$vbpath = "/data/13/1/129/135/1292787/user/1383692/htdocs/forums"

Important Notes: I am logging in with no problem whatsoever. Only my members have said they have issues. Also, I was able to fix the problem when I had someone on AOL switch to their Internet Explorer browser. When they went back to their AOL browser, they started experiencing the same problem. I did verify with my members that this problem occurred right after I installed PhotoPost and integrated it.

Any suggestions on what settings I need to change? What should I look for?

Chuck S, thanks for the reply. I finally ended up deleting the entry for the cookie domain. It is now listed as.

vB Cookie Domain: blank
PhotoPost Cookie Domain: blank

If it works with the cookie domain being blank, is that okay? Is anyone else running an install with the cookie domain name being blank?

I would set both like I stated. If you leave it blank and someone goes to your forum and logs into www.domain.com/forum and then goes to domain.com/gallery they will not be logged into the gallery and vice versa in the forum. For a cookie to work on your entire site the cookies need to be set as stated in all products that use cookies.

Okay, let me ask you something else, I installed PhotoPost under my forums directory like so...

www.domainname.com/forums/photopost

Should I have installed it on the root directory instead like so...

www.domainname.com/photopost

It can be installed most anyway you wish in any subdomain directory etc. Thats why I state cookies need to be set the way stated so they work in all situations since www.domain.com and domain.com are two separate sites as far as cookies work.
